“Super Powers”- Gold Versions

I told you I’ve been collecting the Super Powers re-releases since they came to Walmart “New for ‘22”.

Per DC Publicity:

Forty years later, the Super Powers collection has remained an in-demand line for collectors, with an extensive revival by McFarlane Toys in stores now.

To commemorate the fortieth anniversary, gold variants of key heroes, such as Batman (below), have been added to the Super Powers Collection.

I caught up with the Wave 6 The Flash (Gold Variant) and Batman (Gold Variant) à la Kenner Batman:

(I think The Flash is my favorite. The paint is BEAUTIFUL.)

Then, I caught up with the Wave 7 Superman (Gold Variant) à la the Kenner unproduced Gold Superman:

Recently an opportunity came up that I couldn’t pass up to have a loose Batman in gold.

I just couldn’t bring myself to open up one of these nice anniversary editions myself.

But he looks positively RADIANT in this Ginja Ninja Graphics custom case.
